How much of a popular support Hamas has in West Bank?

Your question is impossible to answer with any certainty.

A recent poll publicized in our MSM stated that 40% of the civilian population of Gaza would rather emigrate out of the Hamas controlled terroritory of Israel.

I suspect that an even larger percentage, a clear majority, are being held captive by indoctrination and physical repression by the Hamas thugs.

What is clear is that Hamas is continually making life worse for the general Palestinian population in Gaza, ie, the Hamas approach to helping the Palestinians by maintaining a "wipe Israel off the map" constant strategy is a complete and utter disaster for the Palestinians.

After the current police action in the Gaza runs its course, an international peace keeping and law enforcing militia of more than sufficient size (let's not make another peace keeping effort turn into a quagmire!), oh let's suggest soldiers from Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, and Iraq, should be recruited and installed throughout the Gaza terroritory.

Reconstruction and rehabilitation would then be possible, and as significant progress is made, this alternative should be considered as the only feasible course of action by the Palestinians, unless they can figure out something even better. As plain as the noses on their faces, the building of hospitals, schools, grocery stores, businesses, roads, energy distribution centers etc should be preferable to what Hamas is providing to the average Joe Palestinian. The anti-this-and- that Islamist based ideology, and the blood revenge indoctrination till the last breath must be stopped. HOW STOOPID!

The top Hamas human shield using and civilian attacking thugs should be tried in international court like Saddam Hussein and his chronies.

And in the process, that 40% of the population mentioned above should in fact have an opportunity to emigrate to the "supporters" of the Palestinians, places like Iran, Libya, Saudi Arabia, etc etc.

When the newest generations of Palestinians learn the values of agricultural engineering, the medical sciences, business entrepreneurship, living in peace for the prospect of prosperity instead of the non-value of building and firing rockets at Israeli towns, and the ultimate non-value of wearing the suicide vest, then Allah will be praised, like Allah has not been being praised by the Palestinian leadership.

It is greatly disappointing that the international community allows the suicidal, death and destruction, rubble and ruin course of actions of the Hamas political leadership.

It's hard to estimate an accurate percentage but it seems that when the Israelis do things like invade the Gaza strip support for Hamas skyrockets.

The election will probably be rigged like it was in Gaza. YOu think those elections were fair? How many people do you think Hamas probably killed to get that election?
