How backed up is U.S. bank in MN as far as forclosers go?

I just got a notice that Dec 1 (next week) my bank is starting the foreclosure process on my home. I need to know how long I have now to save up for a new place. Going back to an apartment with all utilities included. House is too much for me :( But the bank counselor told me "well you could conceivably have...

The bank representative is incorrect about the time frame AFTER the foreclosure is completed. Generally, you will get a minimum of thirty days notice to vacate after foreclosure, but not much longer than that. The bank will want time to list the house for sale and have it 'trashed out' should you leave some items behind.

As to USBank's back log on initiating the foreclosure process, there is no way to know other than contacting the foreclosure department. Chances of that department giving you a correct response is slim to none.

No one outside of a Vice President for the bank can even give you a guess as to how far they are backlogged.
