Although the nearly fatal banking disaster, a.k.a., financial system MELTDOWN of 2007-2008, did occur during the lawless Bush/Cheney administration years, the cause was the always-fail Republican policies put into place between 2001 and 2009 due to the Republican totalitarian control of all three branches of government. As tempting as it is to heap all the blame onto probably the worst U.S. President in history GW Bush, the bad economic policies (to include deregulation that removed all oversight and all consumer protections, plus the Great Recession-causing supply-side trickle-down economics) of the Republicans without a single veto from Bush is why first the housing collapse occurred which cost millions of Americans their homes, then came the credit market collapse, which then triggered the very nearly fatal (to the U.S. and to Europe) MELTDOWN of our entire financial system. This being said, your question asked if President Obama managed to pull America out of the 2008 (began collapsing in 2007) banking meltdown, and the answer is yes (see recovery.gov and whitehouse.gov). With the help of the "most productive Congress in more than 60 years" (C-SPAN News, LA Times), the Democrats-controlled 111th Congress in place from 2009 through to 2011, President Obama did indeed pull this GOP-damaged nation out of the "worst recession since the Great Depression" (Bloomberg News), the Great Recession that began with the housing collapse in 2005-2006 which triggered the domino effect of an imploding deregulated out-of-control banking system.
The banking disaster was caused by you Democrats. You forced Banks (into Law) to give loans to people that they knew couldn't pay them back. And yet you Liberals keep ignoring these facts... why.. because you only need a few people to believe the lie... whats in it for you to tell the truth.. nothing! So a lie is better than telling the truth. Every financial blunder, every war that's failed can all be traced back to the Democrats and their policies!
If you consider a national debt more than double since Obama took over a success he is a rousing success.
Lots of illnesses heal themselves in time. Obama has merely managed to hobble the economy with excess regulation, taxes, and rules. It is difficult to prove what might have been, but without Obama it would have been better.
President Obama has done a great job. All Presidents love America. Bush43 loved it to death, anti was up to Obama to bring it back to life.
