While I don't know about that specific bank, I do know of some that have given similar offers. However, there may be a catch. For example, some banks require you to have the account open and active for atleast a year or some other time period. Some banks may require you to keep a certain balance in the account, etc. Be careful with that deal, read the fine print. The bank has the right to take that money back at any point in time, which can be a real pain if you are relying on that money. There are some banks out there who really just give out money though in order to bring in new customers. Just use caution!
