Does working for bank of america as a teller make it any easier to attain an internship at merrill lynch?I am currently pursuing a double major in finance/real estate. I know that bank of america is partnered with merrill lynch and i hope to get an opportunity there. Are my chances any better than someone who does not have a job at bank of america? |
BoA just owns Merrill outright, no partnership there. Anywho, I'm not sure it would be any easier since teller and Merrill analyst are so different from one another, each position requiring a totally different skill set. On top of that, I'm not sure the manager or head of the branch you would be a teller at would have any significant connections outside of retail banking or at Merrill.
