I just had to do this last night. The only info needed in sending money is your name and general location. (I sent it to oswego ny). you need to know the name of the person that is sending it (first and last). Now if its going into your bank account he'd have o know all tat info, but it sounds like you may not know this person all that well so i'd stick with the other way. he sends it to your city and you can pick it up anywhere in your area. You can go to westernunion.com to locate a spot close to you and just go pick it up. There are everywhere! I wouldn't give that person that info. The phone number is optional, passport is completely unneeded, and they'll check your id when you go to pick up your money. so he doesnt need to know anything about your identity either. just be careful it sounds like somethings wrong there.
