Can someone help me find a quality Furniture Store in NJ, that doesn't break the bank?

I am not sure about Bob's Furniture -- and some of the tables I've seen at Levitz or Seamans "seem" extremely overpriced. I am looking for an oak dining room set, and possibly a futon / sleeper couch for a guestroom. I'd prefer not to break the bank, but don't want to skimp and get...

Though I am not a fan myself of their stuff. Ikea is reasonably priced.

JC Penny can sometimes surprise with nice furniture at good prices. Selection is limited though.

Allenby Furniture on Rt 46 in Pine Brook can have good deals at times.

I just bought my house recently. Here are the place where I got all my home's furniture.

IKEA at Elizabeth, NJ - if you don't think IKEA furniture looks cheap. They can last pretty long. I know some people don't like them. I am pretty OK with some of their furnitures except sofa.

Levitz - Will you consider to get their floor sample or furnitures with minor defeats? My wife and I spent quite some time in their As-IS dept in Woodbridge, NJ store on route 1. I paid 2000 for a sofa that is selling online from 3500. I don't really see any demage on it. Anyway, some As-is product is in terrible condition, but they have some good stuff sometime.

some Chinese furniture - Brooklyn NY 8ave / 65 street - I order my mattress there. Usually, they have good price since they order the item from whole seller after you paid the deposit. Well... the waiting time is really not too actual. My aunt ordered some furniture, and she waited for 2 months to get it deliver.

If it's near you, go to the Cort Clearance center in New Jersey. Cort is better known as a furniture rental company, but a little known secret is that they have great furniture for sale, as well. You can find a nice dining room set and couch there. Their furniture clearance store in New Jersey is at http://www.cort.com/clearance/furniture_clearance_cities/New-Jersey_clearance_list.html
