Can i make a deposit at a bank that isnt my branch?im with nationwide and have a cheque i need to deposit and would like to do it in shrewsbury since i live there now, however my home branch is actually the nationwide in newtown does this matter? cani still deposit the cheque in shrewsbury's nationwide? |
As long as it is the same bank, you can make deposits in any of their branches since your account is in that bank, not just in one of its branches. Likewise, you can withdraw money from any of its branches even using their own ATM's. It's all in the computers.
I cannot answer for UK banks, but you can do so in the US.
