I will be moving over to Dublin pretty soon but I don't know how long I will be living there for as my new job is on a temporary contract which is 6 months long and may become permanent in the future. So, what I want to know is can I be able to keep my UK bank account when I'm over in Ireland because I've got...

The bank you deal with in uk may well have some interest in a bank in NI. so, before you take up your new post, pop down and have a talk with them,Most if not all banks make a charge for converting local currency to foreign, but it is worth asking.
