Bank and car loan???????

Were trying to buy a car at the same dealership where we bought our car from about a year ago so we were aprooved for a bank and theyre asking so our ss card??? Ive never been asked for it before for a ar loan and they did not ask for it last year when we bought a brnd new car. any one know the purpose of this???...

I don't know what happened before and why they would not need it but to get credit they need a social security number so their lender can check credit. Dealers use multiple sources for loans and they usually send your info to each trying to get the best deal possible. Nothing unusual, everyone has to do it. Your dealing with a Toyota dealer here not some guy in a back alley.
