I'm located in Atlanta GA. I recently filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy in September of 2011. Of course I listed all the banks I had negative chexsystem info with. Go with the flow

Google: Second Chance Checking.
Chase offers this, but so do other banks, and there may be one out there that only require $500 minimum balance instead of $1,000
They will also have restrictions and monthly fees.
I found this site with a complete list of banks that offer this in GA.
