First National Bank in Bedford, OHPark View Federal Savings Bank was founded by a group of Cleveland merchants and businessmen who called their new venture Park View Savings and Loan Association because it was near the entrance to Woodland Hills Park. The bank remained solvent throughout the Great Depression and went on to become a federal mutual and loan in 1950, thus changing its name to Park View Federal Savings and Loan Association of Cleveland. The name was changed to Park View Federal Savings Bank 1992 following an $8.5 million stock sale. The bank has nearly 20 offices in seven Ohio counties, most of them in the greater Cleveland area. It offers a comprehensive range of business and personal banking and financial services, including deposit accounts, certificates of deposit, personal loans, mortgages, investment management and Internet banking. In 2001, Park View built its 55,000-square-foot corporate center in Solon, Ohio.
