No way will US Bank do it -been there done that. This is what you do. Apply for an online account. You may be able to "slip under the radar detector" so to speak. I was able to do this. Now I used Wells Fargo and it was for business checking however there are still other banks out there I'm sure you can do this with. Varying degrees of other requirements to fulfill. Check HSBC also -they are known for handling higher risks.

US Bank will almost always make the exception even if you are on check systems. And I believe there should be alot of US Banks in Washington.

I USE TO WORK FOR US BANK AND WE DID IT ALL THE TIME...

there are what is call second chance banks now -- best bet is to go to a local bank -- and take all of your records -- proof of work records bills etc and ask to talk to the manager and se if he will give you a second chance checking account!!!!
