TCF seems to be a good choice there. Although they use chexsystems, they will open accounts for those on chexsystems for the most part

Pretty much every bank uses Chexsystems to verify a person before they open an account. As long as you don't have fraud out there, there are some banks that will give you a second chance if you have a chexsystems record.

AMCORE Bank is one that I know of. You can call any bank and ask.

This is a system used by banks to deny checking accounts to bad check writers. If a bank does not use this system, the use the "Big Three" credit bureaus or some other check acceptance company and research you.

If you are known for writing bad checks or have had a bank account closed by the bank for not rectifying overdrafts, they will deny you an account.
