It depends more on your needs, banks all have the same regulations so the only difference is what you are looking for. Do not go over you insurable limit (FDIC) in one account and you will be safe.
I love TCF bank. There are not many in the valley yet but they are well established in the midwest. They greet you by name and actually realize that they need you to stay in business so they go the extra mile.
