Traffic to Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise?

Share |

I'm moving to town in a few days and the two best housing options I've seen are in Boca Raton near the 95 and Pembroke Pines near the 75. Obviously Pembroke is closer distance wise, but what is the traffic like on any given weekday going to Sunrise at say, 8:30 am, from those two places wince theyre in...

Pembroke Pines and I-75 are practically just around the corner from Bank Atlantic Center. That's where you want to be. The morning commute would be a breeze and the afternoon drive wouldn't be much of a hassle.

Boca Raton and I-95 are quite a bit farther away and much more of a headache to drive.

Toll roads will not help unless you decide to live in Boca Raton.

This map shows the Bank Atlantic Center location in the area.

You would want to take 75 for sure, yes, there is a toll I think from P Pines to the Bank Atl center. But picking Pembroke Pines is much closer than your Boca Alternative!

Rush hour drive time for Boca near 95 would be maybe 30-45 min. Rush hour drive time from Pembroke Pines would be maybe 15 minutes or less!

In that area of Fort Lauderdale going north and south on 75, I would say the traffic is the same, going in both directions.

In So. Fla. we do not use the article "the" before expressway designators. (Just trying to help you fit in.) Re: traffic. In AM traffic from the western suburbs of Broward County generally flows IN to Ft. Lauderdale and South to Miami. Afternoon it reverses. Commuting in So. Fla. is traffic hell in ANY direction. So the closer-in Pembroke Pines will be way better than Boca and it will be largely contra flow the bulk of commuters.
