Does anyone in the Pittsburgh area know of any cash advance places where they cash PERSONAL checks (not payroll or govt). I know these places are becoming few and far between but if there are any out there that you know of please help me out. I overdrew my bank account by mistake but I need to pay some bills but if...

I would say bring it to the bank that it was written on, and cash it there using your license. They might charge you a small fee ($3 or so), but they should honor it. So, if your bank is Bank of America, and this new check is from Wachovia, bring it to Wachovia.

In Indiana we can do it at Wal-mart for $3. And grocery stores and also some liquor stores.
