Any banks running a free $ when you open account? in sacramento, ca.?

i need to open a new account, but im looking to find a bank that is running a special where you get a free 100$ or more :) when you open up a checking account. I also want to find a good credit union over a commercial bank, if there is any input there? oh and NO bank of america please!! thanks!

I saw something that Chase Bank was offering $ 100 if you open an account with them. Call and ask. Or go in the bank and ask.
