There's no such thing as hidden fees, all are disclosed to you at the time you open an account. The only time people balk about fees is when they don't manage their money and overdraw their account . . . THEN the fees can add up. This is a mistake you can easily avoid by simply not spending money you don't have. Bank compete for your business, so inquire in a couple which offer FREE accounts.

No, you don't need help. You need to help yourself. It's as easy as looking on bank websites or giving them a phone call. The "horror of hidden fees" is mostly limited to people who fail to manage their accounts properly and then blame the bank for their own incompetence.
