How/where to open a bank account in Miami for non US resident without fees, passport and minimums from abroad?

I don't know about fees and minimums, but pretty much everywhere in the U.S., you'll need ID to open a bank account, and for non-residents, a passport is standard. I think you will always need a passport regardless.
